Erosion Control, Inc. is a comprehensive, full service hydroseeding
and erosion control company. We provide: hydroseeding,
hydromulching, drill seeding, dust control polymers, Earthguard
fiber matrix, bonded-fiber matrix, soil blanketing, straw wattles,
sand-bags, silt-fencing, and native plant installation.
Acacia also performs earth work, soil compaction, slope repair
and grading. We install french drains, concrete swales, area
drains and drainage inlets. We construct steel post and railroad
tie retaining walls, steel post and redwood retaining walls, concrete
retaining walls,
concrete
block as well as gabion structures.
Acacia operates under a Class A general engineering license.
Our service area is anywhere in California and the western states.

Vandenberg Air Force Base, Port Hueneme and Port Mugu Naval Bases,
U.S. Bureau of Land Management, State of California Department
of Transportation , California State Parks, many California counties

Acacia began performing erosion control in 1987 and has attained
several awards through the years, including the prestegious "Contractor
of the Year" award in 2000 with the International Erosion
Control Association (IECA). We have been long standing members
of the IECA. Acacia's president, Jon Colbert, achieved his CPESC
(Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control) certification
sponsored by the IECA in 2002. Acacia is a proud participant in
the recent hydroseeding of thousands of acres in the San Diego
firestorm burn areas and has performed erosion control on every
burn area of every major firestorm in California since the 1990
Oakland Fire.
